This wine continues to hold on to life but it is living dangerously. It has a lovely, full-intensity bouquet of cedar wood and ripe fruit. Very satisfying on the palate, with good concentration and length, this is arguably the best Calon-Segur of the sixties. Anticipated maturity: Now.
Last tasted, 1/87.
