Compared to Le Pez 82, the nose is less intense with whiffs of cigar-box, kirsch and sweet liquorice along with some volatility. The palate is quite high-toned, peppery with well-integrated tannins. Quite focused and harmonious on the finish. A good 82 although I would consume this now. Tasted October 2003.
